She is Smiling!!!

Jilly has started smiling. It is soo cute!! Auntie Kathy got the first smile. I am soo anxious get home. I fly home on Friday and it seems too far away!!

Also, thank you for all your prayers. We were notified last week that the boys got into Benjamin Franklin Charter School on Crismon. They had been on the waiting list and I heard stories about people who have been waiting for a couple of years. I was trying to figure out how we were going to manage to continue to drive into Mesa everyday with the price of gas continuing to rise. The Lord knows our concerns and answers prayers. I love Him for that, and for looking out for me and my family.

I have truly been blessed by those around me. Thank you so much for all of you who gave condolences about my father passing. I am truly blessed to be loved by so many. This past month has been one of the hardest I have ever had to face - and it was even harder with the fact that I was away from my family in the midst of it. I burst into tears at the strangest times and at the strangest thoughts. But I am blessed to have the knowledge of eternal families. My father struggled with his testimony for many years, especially since Gloria's death. But now he has the whole truth. I know that he is finally happy as he is with Gloria, which is the only place he ever wanted to be. I am thankful to my Heavenly Father for His love and the hand that I know that has been on Jilly. She has been a remarkable baby (sleeping through the nights at 3 weeks and even the majority of the days). I know we have been blessed by above so that we could accomplish everything we needed to get done before I needed to return to Arizona. Again, thank you all for your love and support - and for taking care of Greg while I was away. It is he whom I have missed the most and can't wait to see and hug!!!

Jen - great post! I just stumbled onto your blog from facebook. I dig Jilly's smile. There's something magical about little babies. I'm sure your dad's looking down on her smiling too. Take care!!
